I have a torn tendon in my ankle. Had surgery. Surgery did
not work, so it is still torn. Bought these 1123 for motion
control. Has been a life saver for me, as I really do not
want surgery again. Will keep buying this shoe. I keep 1 or
2 new pairs for when they need replacing.

Shoe has a wide toe box which is very difficult to find and
much more comfortable than a typical narrow shoe. Also, shoe
has mesh sides that is important if foot swells from injury
such as broken heel. Keep making this shoe with the wider
than normal toe box.
Nursejellybean from Round Rock,
I purchased these shoes to wear at work since I am on my
feet for 12+ hours each shift. The first time I wore the
shoes, my feet hurt even more than in my old ones. I was
about to give up on the shoes and then tried them again the
following week and now wear them for each shift. I'm
somewhat clumsy at times, and these shoes provide a nice
wide base to keep me steady even when I'm running around.
Good support, just give them a second chance!

Follow the sizing guidelines provided as you choose your
size--I got 1/2 size smaller and it worked well. This shoe
is attractive and light enough for a "dance-y" aerobics
class. I use my orthotics with this shoe for a more custom
fit. My only complaint is that this shoe gives me somewhat
less support. I traded that for the lighter weight. I would
give this model a 4 1/2 stars.
